The Cook's Studio

It's official!  I found a small commercial kitchen space in the warehouse area in Boulder.  I still have so much to do in terms of pulling out the old tenants things, painting, installing a new used stove, finding prep tables and racks, and updating the bathroom. Initially, the plan is to be up and running in time to begin summer cooking camps for teens and to have the space available for a community of Chefs/Caterer in need of kitchen space for their own projects.

Ultimately this space allows me the freedom to store more food and equipment, and I will be able to offer the Longmont Farmer's Market Attendees and Farmer's a better product in terms of recipes and samples! It's a win/win for everyone.

CORRECTION: The phone number is: 303.817.4313.  I caught the mistake just as it was going to print. Whew!

Lastly, I really need to thank the small group of friends and supporter who have graciously offered their time, talent and imagination over then next couple of months. I am overwhelmed by your generosity and I am eternally thankful.

To Dacia and Maryellen without either of you I NEVER would have been able to do this, Thank you!!

Reminder:
Longmont Farmer's Market, Saturday, May 2 !
We will have more venders this year which is very exciting!

Best,

Chef Deb

Any chance the camp can include 39 year olds who feel like they are 12 sometimes?

If you need any help prepping your new space, let Dave and Jenn know! Congratulations!! Can't wait to see you soon!

Are you sure you want to help?

I am looking for:
*A power washer
*people who can fill and repair a thousand small holes
*Need help taping and tarping the entire kitchen, store rooms and hallways to prepare for painting
*Anyone who knows how to use a paint sprayer
*Help hanging a new door in an area that has been sealed off.
** the finish line; we will have an "assembling party"..will need help putting together prep tables and stainless steel racks..

And yes, I plan to have classes for the eternal youths...it's my blow torch and miter saw cooking class!!

I can't wait to see you guys at the market..at the very END of the day!

Take care,

Chef Deb
