I have a small dinner party to cook for this evening so no recipes. I thought I would give you a peak a what my "day job" looks like.....

Buffalo Sliders w/Caramelized Red Onion Jam
Warm Dates w/Toasted Walnuts and Honey, topped w/Roaring Forties Blue

Fresh French bread w/herb butter
Soup:
Parmesan Bouillon w/Red Peppercorn Biscotti
Main:
Halibut w/ Grapefruit Buerre Fondue
Beef Tenderloin w/a Black Pepper Red Wine Reduction, & Horseradish Crème
Sides:
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Green Beans w/Crisp Shallots
Intermezzo;
Rosemary Lemon olive oil Sorbet
Salad:
Baby Romaine w/Housemade Goat cheese, Grilled Pears w/walnut vinaigrette
*One iceberg Lettuce Wedge w/Fresh buttermilk dressing
Dessert;
Rich Chocolate cakes w/ Dark Chocolate Ganache Frosting
Raspberry Coulis
Fresh berries

Handmade chocolates to take home
As always, my goal is to take photos, but it never works out that way.
For this menu the men wanted beef and the ladies wanted fish and the only dessert requested was chocolate cake. Chocolate Cake. PERIOD. I am tempted to serve it first.....
